Wildlife Safaris

When planning a Safari you need to take into consideration the season, length of time you wish to travel and your comfort requirements.

We at Kuro Expeditions can create a safari to suite any length of time and any budget. However we do recommend a safari of no less than eight days and a mixture of accommodation styles between semi permanent or permanent tented camps or smaller more intimate “with nature” lodges. 

Some suggested itineraries if you have….

• 4 days or less - Tarangire and or Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater
• 6 days - Tarangire and or Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti
• 7 days or above - Tarangire and or Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti

The Seasons

The Tanzania Safari season can be broken up into four distinct seasons, these seasons are all dependant on the rains and the location of the wildebeest. While the Seronera region of the Serengeti is a great safari destination all year round, the Safari experience of the rest of the Serengeti and the other parks of Tanzania are dependant on the rains and or the wildebeest.
