Snow in Arusha…..

Well not quite, but over the last fortnight the residents of Arusha have been lucky enough to witness a spectacular sight. Thousands, if not millions of white butterflies are filling the sky, there are so many that it really resembles snow!!

I have just returned from a fantastic weekend in Kogatende on the Mara River, Northern Serengeti. The whole area had been well and truly drenched by rain over the previous week and was looking more like the rolling green hills of Ireland rather than the dry northern Serengeti we all hear about.
